F.A.Q.
1. I search for an item like ipod
nano but I get all of these accessory listings like cases or chargers,
screen protectors etc. and nothing about what I really want which is the
ipod nano?
The trick here is in your search query, you want to type in the name of
things you DON’T want in your listing followed by the minus (-) symbol and
then a space after the word like so:
ipod nano
-cases -case -replacement -tuner -accessories
-protector

2. I have an eBayTM
store and my items are at the best price anywhere, but they don’t show at
the top of the page. How do I make sure my items come first in the search?
Do I have to pay extra for that kind of service?
So your store has the best prices ever but you are still not on the top 5
list…hmmm…something tells me you need to lower your prices still! The only
way for your item to ever percolate to the top out beating everyone else
is that your product has to be “TRUELY” the cheapest deal available. See,
at Bossbid.com we are dedicated to getting the best deal for everyone. Our
search engine is completely honest. We don’t take bribes or payment of any
kind from anyone…period!
3. I found a deal here that was so
unbelievable I could not resist; a Bluetooth head set for $3.00! It was
one of those that normally cost $70 retail. But when I clicked to order
the item I was hit with a huge total. It turned out that the Bluetooth was
actually $60. What happened? I thought I was suppose to find the best deal
here?
You
are…but sometimes there are a few sellers out there that try to spoil the
fun for the rest of us. A few sellers try to take advantage of our
dedication to offer the lowest prices. Because we do not except payment of
any kind to push a seller to the top of the search, they come up with
crafty ways to try to manipulate our system. The most common way is to
overcharge for the shipping! So while the sale price was a steal,
the shipping charges more than made up the difference. Now while
Bossbid.com does it’s best to filter out this type of “scammer”, we can’t
get everyone. Therefore, we encourage our users to “triple” check the
shipping costs on all items. And as you know, if a price looks too good to
be true, it’s probably because the shipping looks equally
unbelievable…unbelievably high that is.
